Nestled at 61 Larapinta Dr in the heart of Araluen, Yaye's Cafe stands as a charming retreat for locals and visitors alike, offering a delightful blend of atmosphere, exquisite flavors, and welcoming service. This cozy café radiates warmth, creating the perfect space to unwind, whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or planning a leisurely meal.

The café's menu is a tantalizing journey through flavors, featuring a mix of refreshing cold drinks and heartwarming dishes. Begin your day with an Iced Latte ($7.00) or indulge in a creamy Milkshake ($8.00) that will bring back memories of childhood summers. If you’re bringing the little ones along, Yaye's Cafe caters perfectly to them with offerings like the Babyccino ($2.00) or fun Ice Cream ($5.00), ensuring everyone leaves with a smile.

The star of Yaye's menu is undoubtedly its diverse array of dishes that capture the essence of both comfort and creativity. Dive into the crowd-favorite Inca Salad and let the fresh ingredients dance on your palate, as Daniel Martin shared, "it’s worth getting out of your comfort zone and trying the South American style dishes." Or savor a heartwarming serving of Veggie Lasagna or Fried Cauliflower Rice; both options promise not just flavor but a unique twist that sets them apart in the café landscape.

The atmosphere at Yaye's Cafe is equally enchanting. As Laurence Barnes observes, it’s a hidden gem buzzing with energy, nestled in the serene surroundings of the Museum of Central Australia. Enjoy your meal seated under the shade of trees, or settle inside where the gentle hum of relaxed conversation and soft background music merges with the oh-so-pleasing aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

The café is not just about food and drinks but also about the experience. You can feel the camaraderie among the staff, always ready to offer recommendations and make your visit unforgettable. As royal fleming noted, “Staff so friendly,” you’ll find that their warm approach enhances your dining experience.

For a trip that invigorates your spirits, Yaye's Cafe is simply unmissable. The delightful food, laid-back ambiance, and friendly service make it the perfect stop for anyone seeking comfort and joy in every bite and sip. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to drop in—your taste buds will thank you!

Lovely atmosphere served with a side of great service and food. While having traditional breakfast options it’s worth getting out of your comfort zone and trying the South American style dishes. The Inca salad seen in the picture below is delish!

A wonderful little hidden spot from the main city centre. The Cafe was buzzing with both your usual morning coffee lovers and the singing of local birds. Nested away in the Museum of Central Australia, you have the option of sitting indoors or outside among the trees and provided sunshades. We had some of the summer specials, which was absolutely delicious and fresh. And the coffee was good, which was made even better by being served by Max, the cheerful and delightful owner. We had a wonderful conversation with him about the cafe and the local area, which Max was able to provided us with many helpful tips.

What a beautiful outdoor area to enjoy a delicious coffee. (Seating inside also available). Staff so friendly. A big mat with toys to amuse children. Lovely soft relaxing music in the background. Can’t praise this place enough during our short stay in Alice- we came almost every morning

Delicious vegetarian cauliflower fried rice for $16. curried with presumably frozen vegetables. portion was a bit small but expected with the price. tasted real good. matched with some purple pitaya(?) paste was a great contrast with the curried cauliflower. didn’t even feel like I was eating cauliflower at all. Green smoothie was cooling and great for the summer weather. $9.9, highly recommended.
